On Sunday, October 15, 2017, the Casimir Pulaski Museum in Warka hosted the 15th Pulaski Run.
The annual jog is part of an ongoing series of sports events happening in Warka, organized right after Pulaski Day. Over six hundred runners gathered for this year’s event, representing different age groups. Children competed in the morning, and at noon, we saw the 10-kilometer open run (6.2 miles.) The latter entailed two five-kilometer loops around Pulaski Park and its environs. The wonderfully scenic route in the Pilica River valley proved to be rather challenging. Mateusz Debski with the ZTE Radom Folk Athletic Association (Radomskie Ludowe Towarzystwo Lekkoatletyczne ZTE Radom) was fastest and finished after 34:35 minutes. Edyta Miesiak with Runners Club Warsaw (Runners Club Warszawa) won the Women Run Open Section, finishing in 41:18 minutes. We would like to thank the organizers and all partners as well as congratulate the runners. We wish you success in future endeavors.
