This year, we are celebrating the 75th anniversary of the death of Ignacy Jan Paderewski, who was a great Pole, statesman, pianist, politician, and philanthropist.
To commemorate this important anniversary, we organized a screening of the film "Paderewski – a man of action, success, and fame" by Wieslaw Dabrowski on October 19, 2016 in the Museum and Education Center. The audience included local students, who had the chance to meet the director and start a discussion. Mr. Dabrowski answered all questions and explained his fascination with the great Polish composer. After the meeting, the youth visited two exhibitions: "Ignacy Jan Paderewski (1860-1941) – a citizen of Poland and the world, statesman, and artist," by the Museum of Independence in Warsaw, and "Paderewski's Heart" by Ave Arte Foundation.
We would like to thank Principals of Piotr Wysocki High School and the First Air Fighter "Warsaw" Regiment Secondary School Complex for their kind cooperation.
