On this year’s Polish Independence Day, President of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda awarded many deserving Poles in recognition of their outstanding achievements. Prof. Andrzej Pitynski was among few to receive the highest-ranking Order of the White Eagle. Master Pitynski, whose exhibition was featured at our Museum until recently, is a world class sculptor with a long and successful career in the United States of America.

On September 8, 2017, the Museum and Education Center hosted a piano recital by Marek Drewnowski. Mr. Drewnowski is a deserving pianist, conductor, and educator. He has played in the finest concert halls in Europe, the United States, Japan, and Turkey.

From August 7 through 13, 2017, winners of the fifth edition of PULASKI’S TWO FACES competition Natalia Koscianek (from the Piotr Wysocki High School in Warka) and Krystian Czubak (from the School Complex in Sochaczew) completed a cruise on board a Polish Navy training yacht.

On Saturday, July 29, 2017, the Military Aviation Works in Bydgoszcz (Wojskowe Zaklady Lotnicze w Bydgoszczy) hosted a solemn ceremony. Representatives of the Polish Ministry of National Defense claimed a new Gulfstream G550 VIP plane to transport Poland’s finest.
