October is almost upon us with its annual celebrations of the Polish Casimir Pulaski Day.
Therefore, Grojec District Governor Marek Scislowski and The Casimir Pulaski Museum Director Iwona Stefaniak would like to invite you to participate in commemorating the life and death of the Polish American Hero during a ceremony scheduled on October 11, 2016. The JW3411 Honor Guard from Ogrodzienice near Grojec will conduct the official part at the Casimir Pulaski monument. Representatives of the local and national governments, color guards, and local students will attend the official opening at 1 p.m.
This year, the Casimir Pulaski Day celebrations will feature Ignacy Jan Paderewski on the 75th anniversary of his death. After the speeches, guests will have the opportunity to visit two exhibitions:
"Ignacy Jan Paderewski (1860-1941) – a citizen of Poland and the world, statesman, and artist" by the Museum of Independence in Warsaw, and "Paderewski's Heart" by Ave Arte Foundation. In the Museum and Education Center, visitors will be able to watch a screening of a film "Paderewski – a man of action, success, and fame," directed by Wieslaw Dabrowski.
