The Casimir Pulaski Museum in Warka has the honor to be among the first beneficiaries of the Grupa Zywiec Social Fund (Fundusz Spoleczny Grupy Zywiec).
This year, thirty organizations from four Polish regions (Elblag, Lezajsk, Warka, Zywiec) were awarded the Grupa Zywiec Social Fund grant. The contestants had submitted projects connected with supporting the development of local tradition and community, and promoting responsible alcohol sales and purchase. In considering the applications, the organizer assessed the possibility of obtaining real, sustainable results in the form of developing the local community and promoting responsible alcohol consumption. Furthermore, the board debated whether the submitted projects would engage the locals, were original, and carried innovative solutions.

The "Health and Wellness Center" („Strefa zdrowia i relaksu”) is going to occupy the most picturesque part of Warka, the historic Warka-Winiary park. It is aimed at both young and old, who are looking for places to spend their free time.

The project involves mounting simple wooden gym equipment in the park (the health section) and purchasing sun loungers to rest in the fresh air. The outdoor gym is going to include a sit-up board to train abdomen muscles; slalom (set of upright posts) to develop coordination; push-up section for strengthening the upper body; gymnastics bar for handspring and stretching; and tutorial on the proper use of the equipment. The sun loungers will form a mobile relaxing area and travel according to guests' wishes between different points in the lower and upper park.

The project is scheduled to finish in April 2017. We invite you to the grand opening in the spring!
